dans mon appartement

a mini-tour of my brooklyn apartment. it's not "done," per se. i'm moved in, but there are still boxes filled with unpacked remnants of my old apartment hidden outside of the camera's view. i've yet to find a substantial number of interesting, affordable frames for my prints. i haven't yet acquired the kitchenaid stand-up mixer that i feel will "complete" my (already amazing) kitchen..

that said, it has very rapidly become my home, and i love it to bits.

come over, i'll probably cook for you.

  5. Hahaha I might have been one of those tourists you were hoping to avoid ;)

I loved New York, thought it was a great city, but not somewhere I could live. It's too much of a good thing. So far, I haven't found a city I want to live in more than Vancouver.. although the rain is starting to scare me away

  7. thank you all so much!

i must say the process of curating and designing your own home, and injecting pieces of your personality throughout, is an extremely fun (and expensive, but rewarding) process.

kieren - it's possible. the west village is probably my favorite neighborhood in manhattan, especially having lived there for nearly 4 years- but it just got to the point of being too much. i want to be able to come home and relax! i can do that, now.
