Modern American Princesses

This afternoon I had the pleasure of visiting the Reem Acra presentation at her showroom to review the Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. Reem was inspired by her vision of the American Princess, and what a young, elegant, jet-setting woman might want to wear as modern royalty.

I loved how romantic and whimsical the collection was. The soft, feminine tones were like something out of a fairytale. It makes me long for another remake of Romeo and Juliet, honestly. Is that cheesy enough?

Other than the beautiful beading and embellishments in the collection, the highlight for me was being THIS.CLOSE. to Lynn Yaeger. She's one of my personal heroes!

Photos taken by me with a Canon 5D and a 50 mm lens.

  1. Oh la la, it really is all in the details. And I'd classify these as comfortably glam too, and truly wearable. Thanks for sharing!
