Okay, fine, this has absolutely nothing to do with the movie of the same title, but it was absolutely too cute for me not to share. While getting dressed, my cat curled up into the pink tutu I subsequently put on (yes, really). But while we're on the subject, please, please treat yourself to a trip to the theater to see Black Swan. It is so absolutely stunning, thrilling, and intense.

I wish you could have shown Lily's fly nailsssss. xx
ReplyDeleteJulia: Oh I wish!!! For those wondering what we're talking about, Lily comes equipped (yeah right, putting them on is literally a painstaking task) with Soft Paws - tiny little claw caps that keep her from scratching up my lovely things, that look not unlike Chanel's "Riva" nali polish.
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute!

How cuuuute! I can't wait to see the movie :)
ReplyDeleteWait - you put nail polish on a kitten that I raised? Does Uncle Harry know about this?
ReplyDeletethis totally made my day! I cant wait to see black swan, I dont even know if it's playing in Vegas yet but it better so that I don't have to drive to LA!
ReplyDeleteMy cat adores getting in my tutu too-- only she doesn't sit so prettily! She riles through they layers like a psycho.
ReplyDeleteshe looks amazing. great post.
ReplyDeleteWhile I agree the film is visually stunning it left much to be desired for with the plot. I really thought story wise it was mediocre at best since it was basically a blatent copy of Kafka’s "Metamorphosis". Not to say that Natalie Portman didn't do a marvelous job with the role she was given but it left me feeling a bit glum after leaving the theatre. I had such high hopes for it and it's basically just a re-telling of a story. I suppose all films are in a way. But it leaves me sad to realize that movie studios are so bereft of fresh ideas that they have to recycle one's they already know. And honestly do studios really underestimate the intelligence of filmgoers this much by not realizing that most will realize it's a rip off of Kafka's work? It just boggles my mind sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI could ramble on and on about films so I won't. But I will say this, your cat in your tutu is quite adorable. Also I can't wait to see the photos of you in said tutu. I have a feeling you obviously looked absolutely charming in it.
This is soo precious! My dog needs to be this cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure that tutu is absolutely fabulous! I'd love to see more pics of it.
ReplyDeleteAs for your cat...adorable! The shots you got are amazing!

OMG. This is absolutely adorable. I miss my Lily. And I must say I loved the Black Swan. It was really intense though in every respect. You are being warned. I thought it was a great plot as well as an amazing performance. Definitely a must see.

ReplyDeleteHAHAHA That is hilarious and adorable all at the same time. Only you would have a cat which would find it appropriate to wear a tutu. xoxo

ReplyDeleteOMG KITTAAYYYYY
ReplyDeletehow gorgeous were the costumes in black swan, seriously? i never thought i'd be lusting after, like, dance/athletic wear, but suddenly asymmetric dishevelled rodarte knit armwarmers and inexplicably layered black and grey sports bras seem EXTREMELY NECESSARY in my life.
Oooooomg. That little white smudge on the mouth is too cute.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, you are killing me with these shots! Your kitty, who obviously has impeccable taste, is SO adorable I did that embarrassing "awwww" sound (that people do when talking to tiny dogs and babies) out loud. And will take your advice re: the movie ASAP!

ReplyDeleteMe, I'm of two minds about a movie that wants to be a nail-ripping thriller and a statement on an artist's unholy communion with her role. It's reminiscent of older, better movies.watch Black Swan Online here
