I was very, very lucky to receive one of my favorite pieces from the Miu Miu SS11 Collection for my birthday, with the exact detail from the collection that I've been obsessing over for many months now.
oohh so excited, cannot stop starring at the pink bag and the ribbon. I am too excited to see what is in the bag….. it is so funny, you know that such a bag has something amazing inside!!! I feel like a Pavlov dog!!! Yes, such a bag makes me drool and my eyes get really big!!! OMG, the perfect bag!!! the details oh the details, I love the fact that it is a black bag because it is all about the details. and I love bags who will stand the test of time, it will be gorgeous forever and ever.
And thank you for your sweet comment about being homesick. It's what I get for not wanting to be a little city girl. I'd never go back home and live there if you paid me. But perhaps in the future I see myself moving to LA, then it wouldnt be so far away. I just need to get lots of things done in SF first!
I definitely think having an experience away from "home" is important. It's part of growing up, developing your own identity, and so on. I would trade that experience for the world. But really, I miss my family a ton. I don't think I'm done with New York yet, but moving to LA is becoming increasingly appealing... That is, if I don't go the opposite direction and move to London, first.
i wish i could show you the details more-- it actually came with two straps, the one pictures and a simple strap. the strap pictured detaches and can be worn as a belt by hooking the two clasps together. it's PERFECT. i'd be lying if i didn't say half the appeal was in the versatility, both as a bag and belt and other accessories!! (it may have a "necklace" usage in its future, too.
