I know I've been a bit absent from my blog recently, and I promise to be more diligent, but my absence hasn't been without reason! It's been a super, super busy summer so far over here. And with that, I'm excited to say that I've had the opportunity to join the team at
Brooklyn Magazine (our first issue launched in March, with super-hot Michael Pitt on the cover) as their contributing fashion editor. Issue number 2 just hit newsstands with the (truly, genuinely) charming Emily Mortimer on the cover, with a really lovely profile written by Mark Martin accompanying beautifully styled photos. It's been really, really wonderful working on a legitimate print publication that has a really local heart - and I get to work with and promote some of my favorite Brooklyn establishments all the while!
Yeahhhhhh....I'm kinda obsessed with NY right now. I just might subscribe. Congrats on the gig!
ReplyDeletecongrats!! looks so awesome.
ReplyDeleteAh the girl from the pink panther! Love her sweet innocent pure face. (I mean this all in the most respectful way). I love the summer gear. The way it has been styled, phenomenal. Magazines can go crazy with the inspirational posts, about what to wear where. It can get really cluttered. This one is organized, structured but still very stylish.
ReplyDeleteOh and I am a huge fan of the harness! To me that can/will be the new trend. It completes your outfit immediately (cf. chromat).
Looks lovely, absolutely subscribing.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I'm sure you're the best choice for it!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is so exciting! Congratulations, this seems like a wonderful publication!
ReplyDeletethat's look quite an interesting magazine, very chic indeed! Didi you only write for the mag or taking pics too?
