Leather-Leopard Jacket from ASOS, Pink Feather Collar from Topshop, Butterfly Phrenology Bust from A&G MerchI'm sure this is not very politically correct of me, but I'm dying for the seasons to change so I can start wearing the faux fur pieces I've picked up lately. From colorful velvety shoes to pony hairs jackets and ankle boots to gem-tone faux fur stoles and feathery collars (not to mention my favorite fuzzy leopard coat gifted to me by Evans last winter), I'm dying for the temperatures to drop about twenty-degrees so I can wear these cozy accoutrements outside. I confess I've been playing dress up with the AC blasting at home, but nothing beats a brisk fall day. If there's a furry piece you're dying to wear, too, I want to hear about it!

wow that jacket is beautiful!
ReplyDeletefollowing :) check out my blog maybe?xx
That jacket is divine. I am waiting on my long silver faux fur coat. Had it for a year and have been battling through summer to put it back on. Might invest in a fur collar or two to make my other jackets lovely and autumn/wintery too. It is the best season for me. :)

that must be hilarious! outside it is like 90° and inside you are wearing faux fur! that is what i call determination! i am pretty fond of the exotic trend too but i buy faux! something inside me tells me that it is okay to wear a cow but not a snake!!! sounds stupid, but this is how i feel! anyway, that jacket, yes yes yes! that is an interesting leather jacket! statement piece FUR sure!
ReplyDeleteFaux fur is my life. I have the most amazing faux-mink jacket that I bought when I was about 15 and have been wearing ever since, and it cost me 20 quid! Always in the market for some of the furry stuff...
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see that furry pink feather collar on you - it is beauuuuutiful!!
ReplyDeleteBriony xx
I was eying off that ASOS jacket the other week! I can't wait to see how you wear it.
ReplyDeleteDammit! I now need that leather jacket more than I've needed anything else ever!
ReplyDeletei scored a faux-leopard coat last spring for $5 at a sample sale, and CANNOT wait to wear it.
ReplyDeleteHaha, well I'm sure it's quite politically incorrect of me that I'm anxious to wear my real fur pieces :x I can't wait for fall!!! The best time of year in NYC.
ReplyDeleteYOUNG LADY u have posted that coat and now it will sell out before i can get my pretty little hands on it
ReplyDeletei am guessing that you bought the size 14 how is the fit?
This jacket is lovely! I really must put an order in at ASOS...
ReplyDeleteYessssss! You got your hot little hands on that puppy after all!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya'! I can't wait for that first whiff of fall in the air so I can bust out the new faux leather jacket I picked up yesterday! Have already lost count of how many times I've put it on and posed in the mirror with it in the last 29 hours.
ReplyDeleteFunny I just posted a similar post! I can't wait for Fall either. It's definitely one of my favorite times of year. :)

haha I love that you do that with the AC I thought I was the only one!!
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with that leopard jacket... Wished it came in my size! Can't wait to see how you rock it! Yes I am dying to wear leather and a huge feather jacket that I got...
ReplyDeleteAmazing. x hivenn
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that jacket! I've just found your blog and I wanted to say I think your outfit posts are great and you have fabulous taste!
ReplyDeleteWear it girl. Can't wait to see what you put it together with. I am sure it will look better on than on hanger :)
ReplyDeleteSo in love with that jacket!! <333 and I love that feather collar as well. You seriously have some of the most amazing items! I'm forever in awe. <3

Diggin' that jacket. It's hardly ever cold enough to wear cosy furry pieces where I live (right now it's winter and I'm getting away with jeans and a t-shirt haha) but I wish I could pull off some faux fur vests or chunky knits every now and then.
ReplyDeleteWoaaaahhhh That jacket rules
ReplyDeletewellllllllllllllllllllll, I'm the opposite, it's been an eternal fall in SF this year and now that I've returned from vacation in Mexico, I'm NOT looking forward to wearing sweaters and tights all over again. I think you should move over here once and for all! :)

cannot WAIT to see you rock that faux fur collar.
ReplyDeleteHey Nicolette! Awesome Fauz Fur - animal prints are so much in right now! And I want to thank you for all your inspiration as it has given me courage to start my own blog (http://misscherrycheeks.blogspot.com/). I can't wait for your next post :) THANK YOU! Xx Tanya
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try mine, too! I'm super excited about my grandmother's coat I got just few months ago.
ReplyDeleteLove the last photo, and I equally love the faux/real too, I think I only own a few of those prints, but I must admit, after watching Jerseylicious, I'm inspired again, and of course this jacket inspires me too!
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree, can't wait to start wearing some coats! Your jewel tone stoles sound so pretty. I have a vintage brown faux fur stole/cape that is my go-to cold weather piece and I can't wait to pull it out of the closet.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I'd love to check out your blog but you forgot to include a link!
ReplyDeleteThank you!! Ohhh, silvery faux fox sounds exception. I've been picking up some (faux) collars here and there (ASOS has some really brilliant, bright collars) to throw over my classic, staple jackets in place of buying new outerwear.
ReplyDeleteFaux all the way!!! I'm not into real exotics, either. And I know what you mean about a cow versus a snake. It's a strange logic but I definitely feel the same.
ReplyDeleteI would never purchase a real fur coat, but I'm all for thrifting one! I think of it as recycling, because it has already been bought. Recently, I went to my local Goodwill and found a FABULOUS rabbit fur coat that fits me like a glove and defines the waist with a little rope belt. I cannot wait to wear it!
ReplyDeleteI totally thought of you just now when I saw that jacket, Bronny. LOL. Totally your style. You should get it!
ReplyDeleteI want this feather coat,
ReplyDeletehttp://www.simplybe.com/jackets/anna-scholz-feather-jacket-length-from-25in61cm/invt/ax831rv/
but they don't ship to Canada, so I guess I am out of luck :(
Sigh. Anyone know of any other e-retailers (who have int'l shipping) with something like this? I am dying to have it!
