Sparkle & Shine.

Dorothy Perkins Top, Betsey Johnson Circle Skirt (from a decade ago), ASOS Curve Metallic Belt, Miu Miu Glitter Sunnies, Miu Miu & Agent Provocateur Bracelets, Chanel Earrings from Briony, Adia Kibur Necklace, Miu Miu Sequin Purse (similar here), Generic UO Heels

Okay, so, yes - I may be a little bit obsessed with my new glitter sunglasses - but can you blame me?! After primping with a professional for a shoot yesterday, I felt like making the most of my all-made-up hair and make-up and snapping some photos before heading out to dinner at Calexico with Briony, Gabi, and Austin. While I loved the Dolce & Gabbana star prints (surprisingly, I'm not usually a fan of their collections), owning one of their FW11 pieces is a bit of a pipe dream - and this top from Dorothy Perkins proved to be the perfect way to flirt with the star print trend. Not to mention the fact that my red hair is definitely making me want to glam things up even more than usual... Bring on the sequins and the cool fall weather!

  1. There are so many things I love about this outfit but really, I'm loving the gorgeous subtle manicure, the wickedly cool bracelet, and oh yeah! That completely banging sequined purse you're holding. I always believe the details can make or break an outfit. These totally nail it. xoxo

  4. it is never too early for some glitter! Although you are shining without the sparkles and the glitters! But I love it! I think that sequined bag is one of the most gorgeous sequined bags ever! If I ever buy one it is definitely a miu miu! And how insane are the glasses! so much in love with that gorgeous blouse, love the shape and the little stars! The belt is perfect to break up the dark colors of the skirt and the blouse. Glitter, sequins and gold: it definitely makes you sparkle

  28. Year of swimming, girl. Years. Somehow, the same treatment doesn't translate to the rest of my body.
The UO heels are so comfortable - and I only paid $20 for them! I love a fancy shoe, but it's nice to have something I can run around in all day that doesn't break my back or the bank. Red is new to me, so I hope I don't lead you astray while experimenting with colors, myself, too!

  29. but your hair is SO GOOD and you've done the whole redhead thing so i really don't think there should be even a tinge of jealousy.

I really need the heels in more colors. Why didn't I do that while I picked these ones up for $20?! Why?! They're so comfortable!!!

  30. I love the belt - it's the perfect piece for this look and it was only $10!

  36. usually i hate buying things in multiple colours... but seriously! totally worth it. they seem to have different versions of those every season (the ones i have i think actually have a little more of a cone heel than yours) in a billion colours, so all is not lost should you decide you need more....
