I'm definitely the type of person whose moods are severely influenced by the weather (I attribute this to 18-years of growing up in sunny Southern California). While I love New York, I'm almost always wishing the weather was bright and sunshiney, (something I seldom admit, especially as I constantly have to reassure myself that the weather "isn't so bad.") The blooming Cherry Blossoms and Magnolias throughout the city, the extra hours of daylight, and the brightened up wardrobes are making me really happy.
So, it's April, we're just 10-days shy of my birthday (thus some of the self-treats above), I'm toting books around to catch quick breaks in New York City's many parks, I've got a super-practical and cute Furla Candy Bag (waterproof! lightweight! awesome!), and maybe, just maybe, there's an extra pep in my step these days...
