{WANDERLUST} Leaving on a Jet Plane

I'm pretty sure I was born with the travel bug. Neither of my parents are from America, let alone my hometown of Los Angeles, so I truly feel as though the urge to pack my bags and explore beyond the freeways and concrete I grew up in was engrained in me from before I can even remember.  Continue...
Suitcase by Lulu Guinness. Sweatshirt c/o Simply Be. Coated Denim c/o NYDJ. Scarf by Diane von Furstenburg via TheOutnet. Purse by Chanel. Rainbow Keyboard Tote by Jeremy Scott for Longchamp. Ankle Boots by Evans. Sunglasses by House of Harlow

I've been incredibly lucky and privileged to fill up a couple of passports with stamps from across the globe; Mexico to Spain, Australia to the UK, Brazil to Turkey, Japan to Russia. It seems like while on one vacation, I'm already planning and thinking about the next, (as soon as I was in Savannah, tickets were already booked for subsequent trips to Los Angeles and New Orleans).
The most important of travel essentials.... 1.) Your travel documents, (duh). 2.) Giant sunglasses to conceal your jetlagged eyes, (remembre there's usually a 2-piece limit on carry on bags... badum bum, dad joke). 3.) Massive, cozy scarf to interrupt unpredictable weather patterns and cabin air control.

In true Nicolette form, I'm anticipating my next trip, and already making a running list of what to pack.
What's next on your travel list?

Have a safe & wild trip Nicolette! My next travel list is INDIA! <3

PS: So thrilled you were in Thailand (my second home after Kuala Lumpur)

  2. wish I could look this good while travelling, I always end up layering several kilograms of clothes because my big suitcase is always too small when moving around and I don´t want to pay additional baggage/weight fees so I have to wear it all. consquently I look like a scarecrow or homeless person :) this suitcase of yours is to die for! x

  3. That suitcase is amazing! I cant wait to be traveling again! I'll be heading to California end of August! Wohoooo!

  4. Multiple passports, definitely a goal of mine AND to fill them up. Will be very happy to have an American passport when I finally file for it this year. Love that suitcase, it's so cute and looks durable.

  5. I love to travel as well. I recently took two trips to the Cayman Islands (Feb & March) and at the end of the summer, I will be going to Istanbul, Turkey. I've never been and am super excited. Do you have any tips on Turkey?

  6. haha i love that you have two passports! so chic!

  7. Yep, I'm the same way when it comes to traveling. As soon as we're nearing the end of our trip, we're planning our next!

  8. I am in love with all these colours! Gorgeous

  9. that suitcase is so you! don't see you a lot wearing casual clothes, but i must say that i love it! the bright electric blue is so gorgeous with your hair and love the combination of the cropped pants and the pistol boots! oh yes and everybody needs a casual hand luggage bag! next stop for us is london, nyc is not our list in the near feature unfortunately! if you ever come to belgium, let me know!

  13. I'm headed to Turks & Caicos for my 2nd year anniversary in a couple of weeks!!! Love your packing list -- what cute luggage!!!!

  14. This is just one of the many reasons why I love you (and I remember it was one of the first things that drew me to your blog; I binge read your entire wanderlust section the first time I clicked over here).

I'm literally only just off the plane from three weeks in Australia (via Bangkok), and I'm already booking weekends away in the UK, plotting a month in Paris over the summer and wondering how and where I can get to after that (hopefully including NY, duh!)

    Briony xx

  15. Love the rainbow longchamp bag!!

My next trip is to Ghana in 6 weeks :)
