Introducing #NMxVEDAx11H

A little over a year ago, my friend Julie introduced me to a man named Patrick who had an amazing idea: to launch the first luxury marketplace dedicated to the size 12+ woman. We got to talking quickly and developed an automatic bond over our passion for the space, the evolving size-inclusive conversation in fashion, and both being founders of new businesses. Over the last year, we've gotten even closer and shared our visions for growing our brands, and I've become a major fan and customer of his (procuring so many of my non-Premme wardrobe workhorses from 11Honoré). One of the brands that I've also developed my own love and relationship with is Veda, a NYC-based line founded by designer Lindsey Weber with leather at its core. Lindsey and I started talking because of my love of all things leather and her real interest and passion for expanding and developing her own size range at Veda. As we all got closer, it seemed natural that we would all someday work on cooking something up together, and I'm so excited to share the first iteration of that idea: a 3-piece capsule of wearable statements curated by me for 11Honoré x Veda, which launches today! This is just the beginning of what I hope will become something much bigger (with even more pieces and definitely more sizes!), but as a femme who has long been sized out of designer fashion and who has watched this space evolve over the years, I'm so thrilled to be part of the changes happening in this industry. We started by curating a few pieces from Veda's ready-to-wear line, and I chose what I basically felt were my favorite mix-and-match pieces that transition easily from work to weekend: a statement-making wrap dress, a colorblocked alpaca sweater, and the ultimate: a buttery soft leather cropped motorcycle jacket in the prettiest lilac shade. So grateful to Patrick and the entire 11 Honoré team and Lyndsey Butler and the team at Veda for making this a reality!!

You can shop the collection now at 11 Honoré!
